Kyle O'Gara

At just 20 years old, Kyle O'Gara has almost 15 years of racing experience.  Kyle first tried his hand at racing at the age of 5 years old, winning his first go-kart race at Whiteland Raceway Park.  From then on, his love for racing grew.  After claiming numerous wins and multiple championships in the karting ranks, Kyle turned his attention to ovals.  In 2009,  he became a development driver for Sarah Fisher Racing driving a United States Auto Club (USAC) Ford Focus midget at short tracks across the country.  Throughout the next year, O'Gara claimed many podium finishes and finished 3rd in the national championship.  In 2011, Kyle took another step in his career by picking up his first full midget A-Main victory. This happened in his first start.  In 2012, Kyle signed on in a partnership with SFH Racing Development and RW Motorsports.  The team picked up 2 victories their first year together.  In 2013, Kyle made his Indy Lights debut at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway driving for SFH Racing Development and Schmidt Peterson Motorsports.  O'Gara also raced in the Indy Lights season finale at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA.  In 2014, driving for RW Motorsports and Guess Racing, Kyle claimed the USAC National Pavement Midget championship and the STARS national midget owner's championship, respectively.  O'Gara also made his USAC Silver Crown debut at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis.  In 2015, Kyle and his primary sponsor, Indy Trading Post, re-signed for a 30+ race schedule, racing in numerous series across the country.

On top of racing, Kyle is going to school full time.  He is currently in his second year with WGU Indiana majoring in Business.
